This could really be a toss up because most Wireless Routers offer a range of 150ft. However when you throw in different obsticals then this decreases your ability to connect. Note in this instance there in not one that is better than another because Outside Interference affects all that are on the market.

I know that this isn't much help but I live in an old victorian and I have a Netgear with a single Antenna on it and I get good coverage on all floors.
Some of the Newer Routers have 2 Antenna's that have to help. I prefer Netgear over some of the cheaper models only because I have tried them all and in my case the Netgear has the best coverage and response.

Good earlier post.

You may want to consider a high quality router with the latest and greatest broadcast type, but ALSO ask a store employee for a wireless network extender which is compatable with that router.

Lets say your router has that 150 or 200ft limitation. You would take the wireless extender and place it about 25 feet within that limit, it will catch , and extend your wireless range an extra few hundred feet.

With some strategic placement, you can probably get a great connection going.

*Some routers also allow the antenna to be changed. And at bestbuy, there are some hefty antenna systems which can be attached to extend range.

*Here is a example (exact product depends on your router) http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8454479&type=product&id=1184369369314
This claims to boosr your signal by up to 600%

Be sure to ask plenty of questions in store to get real compatable devices. And remember, you can usually return no questions asked within 30 days if it dosent work.

Good Luck!

No partitions or flooring or ceilings for the sign to flow by using. to no longer point out each and every of the electric powered stuff on your dwelling house that could intervene with the sign. Cordless telephones are between the worst of the interference creaters.
