I just recently noticed a red, bug bite, or pimple like bump on one of my breasts below my nipple. I'm wondering what the possibilities of this could be? Even though I'm only 17, could this be breast cancer related? I'd really like some information, I'm worried.

Honey if this does not go away soon like a couple day go to the Dr's tell your mom or another adult about it. I do not want to scare you but yes a girl at your age can have breast cancer and there is a new one out there that starts out like a bug bite. This is breast cancer awareness month and i just went to a seminar on this please have it checked out soon if does not go away. God bless and Good luck

It could be a pimple or ingrown hair. I would wait a week and see if it goes away on it's own before I panicked. If it's not gone in a week then make an appointment with your doctor and see what s/he says.

If the bump forms a white head in it, its most likely a pimple or ingrown hair.

could be lots of things. Could be a simple mosquito bite, assassin bug bite, bed bug bite, ingrown hair, etc. Watch it. If it swells up more, get checked out... if it gets a white head to it, it might of been an ingrown hair or possibly a bug bite.

I have mosquito bites on my breast before but I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on and also see your doctor to have them evaluate this to see what they say.
