Mimi, I'd love to agree to disagree! And i've nothing against airing our differnt opinions. Thats what we're here for IF theres a healthy debate on... Thats just my point. It used to be healthy debate. Not any more, it isn't. Theres a world of difference between a possibility & an accusation. For example: Take the accusation of the McCanns being swingers... Can you just imagine the hurt this baseless rumour has caused their entire family? Its not just someone airing their opinion, Mimi,... its a vile & vindictive rumour.

Hi Snaffle! Yup, an opinion is not pathetic when its powerful in a moral sense. I speak not of such posts. I speak of those like the example i've mentioned above regarding the McCanns being swingers. That was a pathetic rumour, was it not??? but it was also powerful as many folk were wrongly swayed by it...

Stormy, the McCanns were made official suspects by the PJ as a course of the investigation. Fair enough. i have nothing against them being investigated. i also have nothing against the "credible" posters here. A credible poster would never accuse the McCanns of being swingers without any proof.

So, let me get this straight...are you saying I'm pathetic because I have an opinion that differs from yours? Yes I agree that SOME people take it to the point of being distasteful but others just don't agree with leaving children alone. Personally I think they deserve what they get.

We all have an opinion, just like you have yours, but this is the Internet, why take things so seriously? Anybody would think you were a relation of the McCanns. Please don't take offence, cant we just agree to disagree?

Another PRO muppet comes out of the woodwork.NO evidence.Take away the first three letters of the last word....and that's not far from what that statement is.,or i should say the person making it.So they did not abandon the three children, that night, when there was a perfectly good Nanny Service available, the same service they had used before.they did not rubbish, and ignore every sighting of a child that looked like their missing daughter.......ignore that is until THEY were named as suspects. And then, the next sighting "We thing it might be her' The vehicle they hired, weeks after the child vanished, did not ha ve hair and body fluids in it..........the link you used to find out that fact please. They did not state "We will assist the Police in any way we can' And then refuse to answer 90% of the questions asked. When they were named as suspects they did not flee from Portugal. They did not hire the best EXTRADITION lawyer in this country as soon as they got here.AND last but not least.pro-mcCanit....JUST HOW MANY INNNOCENT PEOPLE HIRE A TEAM OF SPIN DOCTORS...I would apprecioate your answer to these truths..not emotional bulls**T

I am sicked by the usual media frenzy over the McCanns. They and the police stand no chance now of finding her or having a fair trial at the end of it all.

Methinks (one of your favorites) that someone is being rude, to alot of credible posters on here.
Do not forget Faith, that the Portuguese police have made the McCanns "arguidos" therefore suspects in the disappearance of their daughter.
Who are you to question that?
Well then, don't call us pathetic.

I'm not sure that pathetic is the right word, pathetic would mean they would have no power at all and probably some theories and the way they're presented are actually quite powerful.

well everyone is entitled to their own opinion. that's the beauty of free speech. Is it really necessary to call someone pathetic simply because they don't hold the same opinion as you?

I don't buy/read papers with Maddie headlines. Boycott the B'Stards, since we can't horsewhip editors these days. (Shame)
