I'm hosting a Halloween party and am dressing up as Dead Barbie. I want to make the best impression as i am the hostess and also I love dressing up!

Depends what you died of! I should think white blond blood soaked hair would be a start and a blood stained ball gown that you wouldn't normally wear but Barbie has an abundance of! pink if you can get it!

Wow, that's a nice idea, pretty original.
Keep it obvious, because otherwise people will mistake you for the usual corpse bride, ex-wife, corpse ex-wife and so on and so forth.
Just pick all the things Barbie is famous for; candy pink stilettos, short skirts, big blonde hair and glittery....and then ad a little drop of essence of dead.
Try to find some faded or ripped pink clothes, a pink flouncy dress (ask your mum if she had anything from the 80's), add some fake blood (only if you have permission). Fake wounds, axe in the back, go all out.

How "decomposed" do you want to be? I picture Barbie in a coffin, nearly turned to dust, but her two implants sitting side-by-side, still like new. Maybe that's too weird...
Pink, plastic-looking high heels, of course.
Ripped up hose.
Fake maggots would be creepy.

ahhh...good old barbie...or course some of us just say old...
i went to a themed paintball as Bloodshed Barbie... i got all dressed up but found my stockings got laddered on teh barbed wire fences... and racing around a muddy field in a mini skirt wasnt practical... and it was cold...
dead barbie should wear a smile.. and white face paint...

Have a knife looking like it's going through her boob...barbie always have a good set on her so emphasize that point. Great idea...dead barbie!!

Get an old prom dress at a thrift store. I agree with the answerer who mentioned the blonde wig, too. This is a great idea!

Get one of then things on a stick you know the ones with the spikey ball on the end.
Cut up short pink dress stain it with red lipstick and wear that!
And when people ask why you have it say its your hair-brush!
Thats what i did last year!!!!

Broken earrings, ripped pink dress with 'blood'..
Make up running down your face.. Shoe could have a broken heel..

Right, my advice:
Outfit ~ Sparkly pink dress, ripped in places all over, blood stains.
Accessories ~ a clutch bag (pink), heels preferrably broken.
Make up ~ get your skin as pale as possible, try a whitish powder. Icy pink lip gloss, grey eyeshadow, mascara.
