depends what you are after

Italy is very friendly and laid back, and the woman are amaizing

Amsterdam is the city of freedom where anything goes

Easten Europe is opening up and has some of the most amaizing sights (Church of Bones in Czech Republic is a must.)

Spain is Hot and relaxed with some good cosmopolitan cities

Scandinavia is great and has the best countryside

Obviously England has a lot to do and a lot of history

Where are you from? if you are coming from America I would suggest travelling around Westen Europe, you can get around by public transport very well and now that they share the Euro don't have to get your money changed (Remember though that Switzerland, UK and Scandinavia do not use the Euro) And you can go through many different cultures.

You can't legally buy alcohol in the US, you might want to consider this.

Southern Europe is cheap and warm and many people speak English, and they tend to be pretty relaxed. Go there.
