When measuring solutions the solution makes a curve at the bottom of the fill level which you should use to measure somthing by, what is it called again?

It is called meniscus.

Meniscus means the upper surface of liquid: the curved upper surface of a still liquid in a tube, concave if the liquid wets the walls of the container, convex if it does not, caused by surface tension

solubility curve dude.it changes with temperature with a saturated soln only...

or do u mean the lower meniscus of water to take the reading of its volume???
