I have not asked any questions, only answered them, so no.
If you don't want it to go to a vote, pick a best answer. I am reasonably sure that the asker can pick a Best answer at any time he or she chooses provided that you choose within three days of posting, or eight if you have it extended. Otherwise it will go to a vote and the most popular answer will be chosen when time runs out.

Some questions, it was about opinions and favorable of others. I wanted them to be in vote.
I was slow sometimes, so I couldn't pick BA or I was tired, didn't care thought it wouldn't make any difference, that was when I was down, but I would leave it and came back to pick BA.
So, when I thought something would not be serious, it could be serious.

I am very slow and also did not know that i could pick the best answer that is how all my questions had to go for voting.

I always pick BA as soon as possible, because I find it rude not to award that person BA myself, because he/she took the time to answer my question.

All of my Q's went to vote ...for a few months until I figured out how to "play" here properly. Yes, I'm a bit slow.
