the whitish shade has been masked over by bluish shade
when i unplugged the monitor signal cable
all the three colour bars on the screen could be distinctly seen

Make sure no one has been playing with the colour point settings in the monitor. There should be a reset to default option.

- - a lower (cooler) colour temperature is redder.

Make sure that you did not bend any of the pins in the connector when you re-plugged it.

Make sure that the connector is well seated and screwed down.


If you have a CRT then sometimes and arc in the tube can mess up the settings.

Look in your monitors menu there may be a colour temperature setting and you can adjust the overall hue to be a little warmer.

looks like u reset the pixels by mistake in the settings
