I loved it when we read it in school back in the 8th grade. That was a million years ago and yet I still remember Hazel and Fiver and Pipkin and BigWig and the General (boo!) and Keehar the big bird. And the phrase "silflay hraka you embleer rah" or whatever the key phrase was (that means basically "Eat Sh*t, Loser" that BigWig says to the General (I won't say more so I don't ruin it for you).
By far Richard Adams' best.
