Honestly! I'd put it back in the trash! Unless it was a first edition and worth something, then I'd risk the bad luck.

I would put it back exactly where I found it, and probably look over my shoulder for the next week or two.
I can't imagine any book being good enough to experience bad luck over!

I wouldn't keep it because I wouldn't have found it. I wouldn't dig in the trash for a book.

well, first off i wouldn't be going threw the trash, that's just not my thing, but if i so happened to find one thin yeah I'll throw it out.
