my friends include as one of their "bestfriend"
some of my friend says that w could only have one best friend... what should I consider?

to be honest it really is upto you on how the term best friend satisfies you and usually a person can have more than one best friend if the qualities are there that he looks upon....

Unless a person has been your friend for a long time, or has unequivocally proved without a doubt that they deserve the "best" rating, don't label them. You will find that many "so called Friends" turn out to be flaky to say the least.
Turn your attention to being the best friend you can be and let the others be what they are.

i have 4 best friends.. ALl of them for different reasons.. I love everyone of them. ANd they all love me. All have screwed me over at least once and my friendship is still strong.
Labeling a best friend can ruin another friendship with jealousy. Everyone can be your best friend.
Like your girlfriend/boyfriend is your best friend or even a parent, but they are not your confidant. Remember you rely on different people for different reasons. But you accept them and they accept you for who you are. That makes all these people possibly your best friend.

To me, a best friend is one of your closest friends, who you have fun hanging out with any time. It would be great to have more than 1 friend like this!

Best friends are also counted as your friends, they also can be anyone you know !

of course yes. i have 4 when i was in grade school, 9 in high school, 6 in college, 1 from my workplace before and another 4 from my birthplace including my sister. we don't talk or communicate much but in times of happiness and sadness, we know where we can find each other.

My parents and siblings are my best friends.
Sometimes, friendship doesn't have a measurable degree, but knowing that all your friends are equally important, is immeasurable.
