are there Graphics cards available for mini PCI slot(laptop)?

i have the samsung x50. can i upgrade it by adding a graphics card separately?

There are NO retail graphics cards for laptops. Any external interface (mini PCI, USB, etc.) is too SLOW for 3D graphics acceleration.
Your only options for games would be to maximize shared memory for graphics if you have large RAM. Then use low screen resolution, the lowest game settings and 16bit color quality instead of 32bit. Good luck!

Unfortunately no, mini PCI is never meant for VGA card....even a Standard PCI is not good enough for VGA....
