Yes - been doing it long enough and got taught the proper way at school... oh those were the days on the old manual typewriter !

Yes, I not only type without looking at the keys but I also use a desk calculator without looking at the keys. I had to learn to do both with the jobs that I have had for the past 20 some years.

Not even remotely close. I barely remember what the "Home keys" are.
In typing class, the keys were covered with white-out on the first day. It had all been scraped off by the end of the week.

I've been typing for over 50 years, starting with the big old
clunker my grandmother had. Anyone want an electric
typewriter?? It outlived it's usefulness when I got my first
computer. My hubby can't understand how I can type, talk
to him and not look at the keys. Practice--years of it.

Yes. In fact, when I learned to touch type I was taught never to look at the keyboard. Instead, we were instructed to place our hands in position, and then, if we had to find a letter or symbol, to find it using a paper next to the typewriter with all the keys laid out.

Yes I can. The only time I look at the keyboard is to type numbers and symbols.

Yes I sure can. I look at the screen when I type, but I will look at the keyboard to type numbers or certain symbols.

yes, i intend to type this whole thing without looking. ive been a secretary for over 2 years now and so i type so fast and i dont even look anymore. hahaha. : ) i didnt mess up once yay!!
