I am setting on to buy a new HD Sportster 1200 Roadster and I hear all kinds of prices from dealers, which makes me wonder, what should I really pay for the bike.

YOu can get the MSRP for any model 2007-2008 from the HD website this link should be full specs for your 2008 Roadster. That your going to get a deal below MSRP I doubt but I havent been shopping lately. You should be able to find a dealer who will sell for 500 to 700 above MSRP definately pass on any one who sells for 2000 $ above.

Added is the HD US site

did you e mail all the HD Dealers you could find and ask them to e mail you back a quote?
find the best price and e mail the dealers back and ask them to beat the best price and let them know the name of the dealer that gave you the best price
HD dealers HATE other HD dealers the most and they will do anything to take a sell away from another dealer and make that work to ur advantage
