2. Game 6 ceremonial first pitch is thrown out by John McNamara.
3. McCarver makes an intelligent comment.
Things that WILL happen:
1. If the Rockies win Game 1, they are "well rested" and "showing their determination".
2. If the Rockies lose Game 1, they are "rusty from the layoff" ("...and Commissioner Selig HAS TO DO something about all these off days" blithers Tim) and "showing their lack of postseason experience".

All kidding aside, these are the three things that WON'T happen during the series:
1. No-hitter. Since they are extremely rare anyway, and only one has ever occurred during a World Series (Don Larsen), this will not happen.
2. Triple play. Again, very rare and especially so in the Series.
3. Player hitting for the cycle in a game. As with the first two, a rare event and not expected to occur in a W.S.

1) Manny Ramirez is praised for his focus and hustle.
2) David Ortiz saves Game 3 with his outstanding defensive play at first base.
3) The broadcasters go the whole series without talking about how either team has a lot of heart, is gritty, or has a good mix of younger players and veterans.
