My internet speed is supposed tto be 512kbps according to my isp but i have been getting speeds of 10-20 kbs only when downloading from rapidshare as well as bittorrent.Any suggestions?

that is not a way to measure ur download speed. in theory, ur download speed is 512k. in actual life it is not. goto yahoo.com and search for a "modem speed test". test ur speeds their.
