I'm very nervous right now! I am 15 years old and I haven't gotten my period for this month yet. Last month, I got my period the 15th (September). Now it is the 24th of October! Is this normal? I may be overreacting because I've been off with calculating for the last two months, but still, is my period late or is this normal? I can't think of any reason why my period would be late.. I've been eating normally and everything. I'm assuming the worst right now... I'm afraid I might be pregnant! Please help! :(

I have had sex, protected and with spermicide, and other precautions (pulling out). I know my paranoia is absolutely ridiculous, I just need to be reassured. Thanks a lot! :]

Also, I'm not a whore. I bet you failed English, retard.

Welll I don't know how long your cycle usually lasts but standard is approx 30 days and you are a little over that. Don't freak out yet though because lots of things can cause a late cycle start such as stress, an infection...
Take a deep breath. Can you get to a home test? Because that is what I would do, go out and buy a cheap one from the store with two inside and take one right off. If its negative you can then take the second the next morning first thing to make sure. My doctor tells me to do that because the hormones that make the test accurate build up overnight and give you a clearer test. If you can't get a home test or are afraid your parents will find it then get to the local family planning clinic or there are usually some places where you can get a free test like women's health centers. If in doubt find the local health department. These places can offer you confidential support and options if indeed you are pregnant. Good luck.

Well, have you been sexually active this month? Are you using any kind of protection? You very well could be pregnant if you arent using protection. How long have you had your period? you're kinda young so is possible your cycle is still getting in a stable swing. If you are this worried get a pregnancy test. or go to planned parenthood. Ask a friends mom to take you if you dont feel comfortable with your parents. Find out! Good luck

Late or Missed Menstrual Period: A symptom of pregnancy

While this symptom seems obvious, it's a little trickier than you might expect. There can be light bleeding which can be mistaken for a light period. Or a period can be missed without it meaning there is a pregnancy. Missing a period can certainly be a major sign, but it is not always THE sign.
Morning sickness and pregancy.

A nauseating feeling in the mornings or other times of day can mark the beginning of pregnancy. This can begin 2-8 weeks after conception.
Breast Soreness, swolen, sensitive itchy breasts: Symptom of pregnancy.
Sore, swolen, sensitive breasts are not uncommon before a period. THis symptom generally begins 1 to 2 weeks after conception. Other causes for swolen, itchy, tender breasts can include hormonal change, oncoming menstruation period, and birth control pills.

Fatigue, Sleepiness, exaustion and low energy: Symptom of pregnancy.
Sometimes these symptoms arise from one to six weeks after conception. This is largely caused by high levels of progesterone, the hormone which is secreted during pregnancy. Other possible explanations are a mild virus, stress, and any number of other things that can cause these symptoms.

Headaches and backaches: Symptoms of pregnancy.

Hormonal changes during pregnancy can lead to headaches. They can begin a couple of weeks after pregnancy and continue throughout. Other causes of headaches may be the cause as well, such as caffeine withdrawal, dehydration, stress, etc.
Darkened Areolas, Darkened Nipples as a sign of being pregnant.
The nipple and the area around it darkens during pregnancy. This may begin within the first week or two, or begin later. Darkened nipples may not be noticably darker for some time.

U NEED TO CHK FOR PREGNANCY AT THE EARLIEST.
If positive do consult an MD Gynaecologist.
Remember no method of birth control is 100% foolproof and "pulling out" is the worst in this regard.
Always insist on condoms before any casual sex-u can never take a chance -what with HIV always a threat.Do not put your life at risk for a few moments of pleasure.

Take a pregnancy test. If you had sex, you are at risk for being pregnant. Stress causes you to miss your period too, and your body is still developing, you could just be late for natural reasons.

Dont worry for another one more second b'coz its quite common and normal for all the ladies at this age .It is probably due to some inadequate intake of nutritious food...and if u worry furthermore immediately contact ur mother or any other feminine in ur house or ur institute.Take care

Have you been having sex? Particularly unprotected sex? Then the answer could be yes. If you have not been engaging in a sexual relationship then the answer is more likely that it is just a temporarary glitch in your cycles. You don't get pregnant without having sperm in the vicinity.
