Fires of this sort are generally caused by carelessness, and dry ground, throw in the Santa Ana and we have a problem. i don't believe our own Govt is burning the state up, it would be counter productive. I wondered about retribution, because we have been warned that our country would be destroyed from within, and it seems to be happening. The Queens thing was an accident, pilot error.

Fires are a natural event in California. We have a dry environment, right now we are in the middle of a drought in Southern California, this season is known as fire season because the dryness of the landscape from dry summers combined with the hot, strong, seasonal Santa Ana winds increase the risk of fire exponentially. They don't have to be arson. The strong Santa Anas often knock down power lines, which spark fires. Fires spread quickly because of the wind and dry environment. If you "think about it," California has fires every year...this is nothing new. This year has been especially dry, so we are having some increased trouble. You obviously don't live here...this is the risk of living in California, and everyone understands how it works. We don't need terrorists to set us on fire...it will happen anyway.

There have been fires in California for centuries because of santa ana wind conditions. I helped fight the Telega Canyon fire of 1963, which was the grand-daddy of modern wildfires since it involved five counties and almost jumped the border into Mexico.
Only one fire in this latest group is arson. That's the one east of Irvine in Orange County. The others were probably the result of high winds knocking down live power lines.

i think it has more to do with schwarzenegger's signing of
bill sb777 than terrorism. ever heard of sodom and gomorah?
and for clear and present terror there's also ab394 and ab14.
not only are californians not allowed to say "mom" or "dad" ; "husband" or "wife" coz that's "discriminatory to gays", government funds will now be spent on pushing down people's throats gay ideas. dont you find that fearsome?
that's more than the terrorists from iraq. if you dont do anything about that now you can just imagine the mayhem in your own soil in the nearest future.
regular people have the innate right to be normal and live in normal situations.
i have a question for you: is'nt there anything you are going to do?

not terroism; its actually arson. initially, we san diegans only had harris and witch creek to worry about. but some bad apples thought it would be funny to set off fires and cause panic. they took advantage of the bad weather and dry conditions to easily set fires.
for example, some san ysidro HS kids set fire around the san ysidro area. it wasnt natural causes, it was arson. and the other fires could also be arson. but officials have more important things rite now than pointing fingers. after this is all over, the people setting the fires will not be happy campers.
but this is not terroism, its arson

You can't really believe this. Are you going to blame the high temperatures and the high winds on the terrorists. These must be very smart terrorists if they can control the weather.
