Which is most likely holding up my period...?

Question

1. I took cymbalta and had to stop due to tremendous sleepiness.
2. I have been on two or three doses of anti-botics in Sept and Oct.
3. I had a terrible fall and hurt everything...especially my wrist. Now, I'm on Darvocet.
4. I had a pap smear and an ultra sound in September...two weeks apart with a period in between. 09.12.07.
5. I'm 42 years old.

My periods are usually 25 days apart. That means I have a period and the next month, the week before...I have the next one. I should have had one like 10.05.07. But still no period...and I'm not having sex so I know I'm not pregnant.

What do you think?


I'm going to family doc tomorrow as a follow up with wrist injury. I plan to mention it.

Sounds like you've had a lot of stress, both physical and mental-that will do it.

I agree with Barbara...I would assume stress...even if you are not feeling stressed mentally, it sounds as though your body has been stressed with the medications and the injuries that you have had recently. I would mention it to your doctor, but I would not be overly concerned about it...If it continues like this for 3 months or more I would become more concerned about it.
