yes some are of greenish or redish tint, some are black

Yes it is found in a range of colours. It can be black (due to heavy inclusions), white (due to microscopic air bubbles), green, red (superb cherry red comes from Myanmar), bright orange, some can have a bluish tinge and, of course, the wide range from bright yellows through to dark brown.

Its pure colour can vary depending on the species of tree that exuded the sap.
