so i have no clue when my cell phone bill will get here but my mom says that if i have long distance calling on there she's gonna ''beat the **** out of me'' and take away all my privelages (including talking to my long distance boyfriend) and i did call long distance..so much that instead of my cell phone bill being 35$(like its supposed to) its gonna be 116$ but thats also cuz they charged me 40$ for the activation fee and im so scared..idk what shes gonna do to me but i kno shes gonna hit me..please someone help..

If I were you I would be up front with your mom. Tell her now that you made a long distance phone call, and tell her you are sorry about it. If you tell her now she will respect you more for being up front about it, and it will reduce the shock when she opens the bill and sees exactly how much it is for. She is still going to be angry, and will still probably take away phone privileges for a while. But it won't be as bad as if you don't tell her. You might also want to offer to help pay for the bill. Do you have a job? You can find odd jobs, like babysitting or pet sitting to make a little extra money to help pay the bill. Good Luck, I hope your mom doesn't hit you....

Offer to pay for some of the bill. But next time follow the rules and maybe buy a calling card if you want to call the BF

you should have it taken away from you if your doing that.. you need to get a job and pay for the extra on the phone if you want to use it like that..she shouldnt slap you or anything like that but she should take away some privelages from you so you learn the value of money and that it dont just grow on trees. its not like she the bank and you get what you want from it. good luck

Do something about your fear....have a responsible plan in action....think of a way to earn that money and pay for it yourself....tell your mom your sorry and your not ready to have a cel phone yet.....give it to her on your own and then tell her your willing to do anything you can to pay the bill....by doing extra chores or getting job....or something....talk it over with your mom....maybe then she won't feel like beating you. maybe you should leave a note with her first....so she can see that at least your really sorry about it.....if your not then well maybe her angry at you is worth it to you

cell phone includes unlimited long distance on weekends and after 9pm on weekdays. Call him after 9pm or on weekends, your mom will never get charged for it.

Wow. That's quite a bill. I would strongly suggest getting a job to pay it! When she sees your intention to pay for it yourself by working she won't be nearly as mad.
