does not money always make the decisions in america ?

the poor cannot get to office, and when one does get there he goes to the wealth side and then most times votes with the wealth side or am i just talking here?

Cultural issues effect elections so many people do not vote their economic interests, but rich people do and they provide the money for candidates to campaign, so their interest are better represented. But money does not always make the decisions. I don't think most big money interest except Haliburton etc like the war.
