Microwave baby's dad pleads insanity

GALVESTON — A man charged with burning his infant daughter in a microwave oven will seek to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
Sam Cammack III, attorney for Joshua Mauldin, has filed notice of intent to plead insanity.
Under state law, a person can be found not guilty by reason of insanity if a jury finds the defendant did not know that his or her actions were wrong. It is a defense that worked in the cases of Andrea Yates and Deanna Laney, two Texas women who killed their own children.

What I did with my son ( I'm a father of a 2 year old boy) is I bought the nursery brand water, they come in gallon jugs and left them at room temperature. Warm milk actually upsets alot of babies stomachs because baby formula will actually spoil if in the microwave and then set out for too long. If you use the microwave, 10 seconds max depending on how hot your microwave gets. drip it on the bottom of your wrist to check the temperature before feeding. Gather all the bottles you have and fill each bottle with the powder for the formula and set aside whenever you need it, then all you have to do is add water, shake and feed.

It has nothing to do with white people or people that are religious. What you are dealing with are two people who were incredibly unstable to begin with. Most likely that's why they are together in the first place. Just because one person goes crazy and does something nuts doesn't mean everyone needs to cast judgments on the general population. Because I'm pretty sure all races have members that have done some inhumane things. I'm also pretty sure that religious and nonreligious people have committed some inhumane crimes. You sound ignorant when you take an extreme case like this one and generalize it to anyone and everyone that may have something in common with said person(s). Lets be smart people, the last thing we need in this country is more prejudice.
