I think the word gossip has a bad connotation connected to it. Do I talk about other people and listen to the stories of what is going on? Yes, I'm guilty but I don't have my head stuck in the ground and how else do you find out what is going on around you. But do I spread untruths that may hurt someone. No. Frankly, I don't like to talk about other people on a regular basis, so no.

No I don't gossip but I do love to hear was going on. But I don't go telling people what I know because I don't like to hurt peoples feelings. But I do talk about it to my husband all the time. He is my favorite to tell stuff to because he never tells.
I just got into some thing like that at work. But I did not mean too. It all happened so fast this people from my job gossiped back to back, like a he said she said thing against my sister in law it was crazy and the more messed up thing was that I got in the middle of it because I backed her up. Then my co workers got mad and even told me if you go for her side we will fire you! Next thing I know they let my sister in law go and she told me it was all put on me like what the hell is going on.

Everyone gossips to a point. Human nature. Spreading rumor is a different story.

Sorry I do believe NOT all the ladies before me saying they don't and have or had stopped. Not a chance Ladies, may be the 2 guys earlier is telling the truth, but I can't hold doubting too...Do you Krystal, about 4 of them, I'll not tell you who knew your ex-BF Ford? and Brad?...and details why they broke you up....so don't believe themmm. I surely don't indulge in it since birth you know...not until I found your Q...scared me of its effects...but do you think its really thrilling...?

Gossip is the root of all evil. If one has something to say to someone, he or she should say it to the person directly. It's much easier that way and you're not perceived as a loud-mouthed idiot.

if it's none of my business, i don't say anything. If i decide that it is i go directly to the person, and tell them. if the persons not present, and people are saying things about them, I always say, "Do you guys know you sound like a bunch of **** talking bitches right now?" That always shuts them up. It is much cooler not to say anything if it isn't nice. Really it just makes you a better person. Not weaker, just better.

yeah i do but i try not to be harmful. i think i gossip more because when ihear something it usually tumbles in my head and bothers me so i talk about it to other poeple so i can understand the situation better. but maybe if you do gossip it is always good to be diplomatic about it :)

I try hard not to. Sometimes i hear stuff and i just talk about it with my friends, but we never spread rumors to others. But i know it hurts people, and i try not to do it anymore.
