Im just curious what people have to say now.

If you double cover moss then you have welker/stallworth and watson?

When morris is healthy then they have 3 decent RB's Marroney/morris/faulk

There defence has looked pretty good and the best defensive player they got is coming back which is Seymore and after watching the miami game harrison looked great and seems to be 100% and energized

What are teams suppose to do against these guys?? i think the colts game will be a good game but i would have to say the pats will win and dont say the colts have played harder teams the only hard team they played was the titans and they only won by 2 points and if you score more then 21 points against the jags you seem to win easy because they have no offence.
In my opinion the only team i think that will beat the patriots is the giants in the final weeks because i cant see the pats playing all there starters because by week 10 they will win there division

Well, first of all the thing to realize is that Randy Moss and tom Brady ect. are men! They do not possess some sort of magical powers that the fairy God Mother gave them during the off season. Second, if you run the football and run it effectively, you have a great chance! Running the football will take alot of time off the clock. If you can control the time of possession, you can control the Pats! Another plus is, you can wear down the oversized New England defense. The Colts did just that last year in the AFC championship game. And likewise the Chargers! The New England defensive players even admitted that the Chargers wore them out and did not want that game to go into overtime! A good balanced attack is the best way! Keep them guessing! Don't show them the same look you showed them before! Keep the element of surprise on your side! Make sure they have no spy cameras, and you have a good shot at beating them! And Welker and Watson will have the biggest test of trying to outrun the fastest defese in the League! The Colts defense is built to run! If its a foot race you can hang it up!

The Patriots can't be stopped, plain and simple. The only chance anybody has of stopping them is if Tom Brady goes down to injury which is highly unlikely. The Colts barely squeaked by last season in the playoffs thanks to a key drop by Reche Caldwell (no longer a Patriot). Not to mention the fact that while the Colts are undefeated, they have yet to play a team that is worth a sh*t (Pats destroyed San Diego and Dallas) and when they played the Titans they barely won by 2 points. I'll give the Colts their dues but at the same time they just haven't shown enough to convince me that they can contain the Pats in week 9. The Patriots will win this one and Tom Brady will get his vengeance for their past 3 meetings when Indy was finally able to take advantage of Brady's only weakness... his receivers.

myfrogdog: Man it is painfully obvious that you either A) have something seriously against Tom Brady and/or the Patriots as a whole, or B) You are a Colts fan... which co-exists with option A.

You're right. To stop the Pats, here's what you do. When the Pat's run on first down, like they almost always do, you let them get 3 yards. Then they'll be encouraged to run on second down. You let them get 4 yards. Then on thrid and 3, they'll likely run again, and this time you stop them.

That could work for awhile, but of course Brady will just take over.

I agree about the Giants in week 16. The Giants might be fighting for a playoff spot. I think the players convince Belichek to play the starters for the first half. Then they're coming out, win or lose. That will motivate the starters to play hard and score 42 points. They'll be trying hard, which will keep their edge. When they win, they'll be sky high going into the playoffs.

You don't watch much football obviously. That's like me coming to you saying if you double cover Marvin Harrision, you have Wayne, Clark, and Gonzalez. Not to mention Addai and backups Utecht, and Moorehead. No, that doesn't make sense. That's like giving up hope to beat the Colts. You cover one on one and cover them well, just like good secondary defenses do against the Colts when the Colts lose. They have a running game, just not a good one. They have a defense(by the way, not defence), just not a great one. They won't sit their starters the last week because they will be killing to get home field advantage in the playoffs over the Colts. Basically, you play good defense, and better offense than they do. Easier said than done, but easy nonetheless.

Slow them down, and outscore them. Their defense is their Achilles Heel. Against the Cowboys, Romo and Co. was able to move the ball quite effectively at times. However, their penalties and errors choked their drive and ultimately killed their chance. The Cowboys scored 17 points in the 2nd quarter while limiting NE to 7. The Cowboys even kept up in the 3rd. But again, their penalties killed their drives, kept there defense out longer, which ultimately led to their breakdown right around the end of the 3rd quarter. That's when NE ran away with the game.

The Colts offense is more disciplined than the Cowboys', and their defense could slow the Pats.

I see a Colts victory on November 4.

I think you know little about football. I won't tell you that Indy has played any good teams, I also won't tell you that the running game in New England is subpar. I also won't tell you that the Patriots couldn't stop Indy last year in Indy or in New England. I also won't tell you that Adelius Thomas is not the answer to an aging group of defensive athletes that play much better in the first half of the season than after 16 regular season games. I also won't tell you that while the Patriots may wrap up their weak division (is it okay to call the division weak) by week 10 that even if they beat the Colts in week 9 they won't wrap up homefield advantage until week 17... or 16 at best. I also won't tell you that this is an overrated team. I will tell you that they are in the top 2 THIS year (hopefully that doesn't offend you) but I'll refrain from telling you that they are far from being the best team ever.

If New England is still undefeated during the last few weeks, I strongly think they'll push for an undefeated season and keep playing their starters. They have a few Super Bowls already, and an undefeated season is yet another thing to strive for.

I don't think any team in the league has the personnel to stop the Pats if they bring their A game. If NE loses a ball game, it'll be because of a combination of lots of penalties and turnovers.

To answer your question in the simplest of terms....you knock the crap out of Brady. Any team that gives that machine of a quarterback time to operate will lose. If a team can hit the man, and knock him out of his rhythm, they have a chance.

The Cowboys will do much better in the Superbowl rematch! Who will win, I don't know.

Well I think that they can't be stopped! You have to score more points than them to beat them. Or pray Brady gets injured or something, but honestly they are to much offense to be stopped, double team Moss, Welker kills you, play man to man with Moss he will destroy you. Enough said.
