life itself is beyond human control. Every moment is a bonus. Attempting to ensure comforts and conveniences of the physical body and have an illusion of pleasure, satisfaction or happiness, the element of the uncontrollable nature of life itself is forgotton or at least temporarily set aside, since lingering on that would entail total apathy and inaction. Thus all actions and activities are subject to non-control of life. by chandrasekharan k

It's not entirely true that life is beyond human control. We all exercise considerable control over it and do succeed in shaping our lives to a great extent. If the control here means only birth and death, even then a life in real terms is subject to controls at it's various stages with tangible and visible results. The control word here can be inclusive of adaptation, modification, alteration and even drastic changes which are part of our lives. Therefore all planned and executed actions with intelligent deliberations affecting our lives can't be called non control. It is therefore evident that the explanatory note mentioned by you is a kind of contradiction within itself or has been torn out of a larger context and posted.

"Life itself is beyond human control" is a bit onesided. Lots of levels of "life" permit human influence, or "control"...with God = Life being beyond "human control," except "Command ye Me."

"Man, Master of His Destiny," Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov speaks to this.

What is life? If life is death, which it isn't, than the above is true. Life is what we feel while we live and we can, to some degree, control that.
