If you can find a group of friends to go with you, I'll let you have my costume idea, because I have to work on Halloween anyway:
I wanted to be the leader of a zombie protest group. Maybe 5 people tops, dressed as typical George A. Romero zombies, carrying poorly-constructed signs with the barely-legible (these *are* zombies, after all) word "brains" hand scrawled on them in blood, filth, etc. The leader of the protest group would have a megaphone of some sort, and on occasion the group would burst out in the following chant, in full /zombi voce/:
what do we want?
....brains!
when do we want it?
....brains!!!

You ARE cute! Anyway Troy would probably work well for you. If you dont want to, go as a vampire. But a cool vampire. No blood running from your mouth or anything like that, just the costume and some fangs. The chicks will dig it. I think theres nothing sexier than a hot guy who wants to bite my neck, lol. Also, if you go to the Halloween specialty stores, they have fangs that will mold onto your two canine teeth and you can talk with them and such without sounding muffled and drooling everywhere.

I wouldnt be anything where you have to have you rface painted. If you bob for apples or sweat or kiss someone it will be ruined. Masks are too hot. I would be something where you just wear the outfit and maybe some type of hat or something. Dress up as one of your teachers from school that you all make fun of. I did that one time except mine was as a coworker and it got lots of attention and laughs. Maybe the girls will come up to see what you look like if word gets out which teacher you are dressed like.

You should go to an anime cosplay shop and buy a final fantasy costume or something. (Like Cloud) Those anime costumes would really make you the center of attention.

Back in college I knew a guy that wore white pants, white t-shirt, white sneakers, and a white toque (knitted cap)... and a light blue cord tied about his waist with a length of it dangling to the floor... he went as a tampon. No kidding.
