This might be old news but I thought they should not made Dead Man's Chest and they had to make World's End. I mean the first one was the best one. They didn't have to make another one because nothing lead up to Dead Man's Chest. I think it kinda ruined the movie a little bit. What do you guys think?

I agree - I think that they should have left Pirates 1 alone. The sequels were rotten.

They usually ruin movies with sequels, if the movie made enough money. However, in this case, I disagree. Dead Man's Chest was good, despite not having had a lead-in. World's End was necessary, after the way DMC ended, but WE's ending disappointed me. Now, there's talk of a fourth, which may lift my spirits on the poor ending in #3.

I actaully loved all three of the pirate movies. I loved how all the characters developed throughout the films. The only thing I hated was the ending of the last film. However I will agree that the first one was the best but first movies tend to be that way.

Loved both of them just for the pleasure of watching Johnny Depp bring such great personality to Captian Jack.

I personally have never gotten into Pirates and haven't seen any of the movies!

I liked all three, but yeah, the first one was the best one. The other two showed everyone in a completely different light.

Sequels are hardly movies at all; they're attempts to make money from a good idea that's played out.

well maybe you should get better taste and go watch em again because its one of the best trilogies (and soon a 4th movie) ever.

As far as I'm concerned, they DIDN'T make any sequels!

I've refused to see any of the sequels, actually.

I learned my lesson on the 'Star Wars' franchise.
