It's one of the hardest things someone will go through when a loved one ups and leaves you,it's a pain that is so deep all you want to do is sleep through the hole thing and wake up when the pain is gone at least that's how i felt. There isn't anything anyone can do but be there for him if and when he wants to talk about it. Try and get him out of the house if at all possible he will put up a fight but don't give in. That's about all you can do for him, just let him vent know matter how long it takes don't chance the subject let him get it all out it will help him.

Because you are being so vague about all of this, I assume that you are a woman who is not related to him and you find him attractive. And nothing is cuter than that sorrowful little puppy dog expression, is there? I would take him back to his owners' home (aka his parent's house) where he can continue to convelesce his broken heart. Don't worry. He can come back out to play when he's feeling all better.

talk to them.. maybe get him into counseling so he can learn how to deal with it the best way.. its a loss and the pain is just as bad as if one passed. its like a grieving process. be there for them. time for him to find a hobby or do something that keeps him busy and he would enjoy.. good luck

all you can do is be supportive and reasuring that he will get over it in time, and encourage him to be active with other people (not sexually) and stay busy in order to keep his mind focused on something else till it passes.
