Use pure aloe vera. Not only will it help to heal the sunburn, but it is also cool and soothing. Try keeping it in the refridgerator. This will make it even more soothing and help to take the heat out of the burn. Also, you can bathe in cool water that you add a cup of oatmeal bath to, or baking soda. Both of these are also very soothing. If you do this in combination with the aloe vera, it will help your sunburn to heal more quickly. I hope this helps. Feel better!

Make sure you shower as often as possible with a loofah
type sponge. This will help to remove the dead skin that is eventually going to build up. Try and wash with a cucumber type of soap. Suave makes one that is realitively cheap. As soon as possible, lay washcloth compresses of ice cold straight vinegar to wherever you were burnt for however long you can stand it. Let thevinegar compresses completely dry and then rub on some sort of aloe vera; whether it be gel or spray. Repetitivity works. Also...DO NOT put any type of lotion on fresh sunburns...lotions clog the skin pores and keep the heat in, which will only make matters worse.

Vinegar will take the sting out of it. Lots of aloe to help re hydrate the skin. Noxema, does wonders so long as you don't rub. Just smooth it on and wrap yourself in a sheet.
Good luck...
Just remember the new rule about getting sun burns, even teens are getting skin cancer now. Every sunburn puts you that much more at risk.

Get a big bottle of aloe vera moisturiser, and then slather it all over the sunburn, and avoid putting pressure on the sunburn or it will rub the skin away.
The idea of the aloe vera is to soften your skin and replace moisture, and makes it more likely to rub the skin away.

Time is the only thing that will heal you. If it's a bad burn, you'll peel and there's really nothing that can stop that. However, aloe (preferably gel) will help to cool you down a bit. Aspirin will help to reduce the redness and will make it slightly less painful if it hurts. If you find that your skin is a bit bumpy in spots (heat rash), try some Benadryl.

Aloe Vera Gel. If you keep it in the refrigerator then it's nice and cool.

It feels REALLY good if you have a bad sunburn!!!

Aloe Vera. Lots of it. The best thing is to go to someplace like Walmart and get vitamin E capsules. Break one open and spread the aloe on you. Works every time

Use Aloe Vera, some lotion and I have always found a lukewarm shower or bath helps me out too. Hope you get to feeling better.
