I mystery shop and my assignment is to lower my brake fluid a bit to see if they fill it. Some vehicles, this isn't possible, is mine one of them?

Yeah, lets lower the brake fluid so we get air in the lines, then on the way to the service station run a red light due to the lack of braking and get ourselves killed. You'd be better off draining your windshield washer fluid. If you use a turkey baster you better never use it for food again, brake fluid is caustic. The other posters are right, brake fluid levels remain constant baring a leak.

A turkey baster or a vacuum pump should work fine.Did you know that you really shouldn't ever have to add brake fluid unless there is a leak.Wile you are mystery shopping you may not only want to see if they notice low brake fluid It is important that they bring it to your attention and recommend that you check for leaks.or worn pads.

How are you going to check if they filled it if you don't know where the reservoir is at? Besides, you should never fill brake fluid. It's a good indicator of brake pad/shoe thickness.
