I've got a hunch huckabee will win the south. he is drawing a lot of support in iowa and new hampshire and people in the south will realize that there guy has a chance to get the nom. i know giuliani has cal wrapped up, but still, getting control of the south is a huge advantage for huckabee. He's got a real shot at getting the nom, and he will beat hillary if he gets a shot.

i think of it is going to likely be Huckabee, yet while he would not win it, his marketing campaign is genuinely over. If he does win it, he will merely approximately actual win the nomination. Thompson will drop out and maximum of his assistance will flow to Huckabee, which will help him in Florida, that's in a 4-way tie the excellent option now, which will propel him into shooting something of the hick states that vote on Feb. 5. Rudy gets some like great apple and CN, yet I doubt he will pose a concern. comparable with Romney, until he occurs to win NV.

As it stand now he has my vote, instead of just stating his positions on the same issues that all the other candidate's are being ask about, he is putting forth an agenda of his own and educating people in the process. Its time for conservatives to quit being on the defensive and start going on the offensive. Its called leadership....Huckabee has it! Look at his push for the Fair Tax... our founders would have never allowed a tax on America's work ethic, which is what the income tax is. Huckabee is our best bet in 08!

The question in the South is Huckabee vs. Romney vs. Thompson.
Huckabee is the logical candidate for social conservatives and evangelicals but he is having trouble pulling them together.
I don't think Huckabee will get the Republican nomination, but he is the only one that causes me to worry about the 2008 election. Any other candidate and the Republican base stays home in November.

If the south had any common sense they would select someone else. He wants to give every illegal immigrant, every benefit possible, he wants to privatize social security, he would go to war with Iran without the consent of Congress, and he wants to continue the war in Iraq, which will result in our economy sinking into further debt... which eventually will lead to much higher taxes...
Sorry, a pro-war candidate is unelectable this election, this country is not looking for another Bush clone. The only viable candidate that the GOP has at this point is Ron Paul.

We can only hope. Huckabee seems like the only real republican with a shot. I just wish he could get more of the media coverage. Just because he isn't a millionaire doesn't mean he should be ingnored. He has my vote.

Huckabee is a great guy! I think that he would make a super VEEP for Thompson, or McCain! I wish they would pair-up so that Rudy and Mitt would step down!
Great Observation!

I will give you this - Huckabee is honest and straightforward. He's pro-war and pro nanny-state. So, how is he different from Clinton?
Oh, religion. Great. Lemme pretend the government has any business there. Nope, still don't care.
