Because every guy would like to think that he is the first person to have sex with you. A really bad analogy would comparing a girl to a house. would you rather have a new house or one's that been used for 30 yrs? plus if you're not a virgin then there's a lot of history and that can complicate relationships.

If you really want me to be honest, because virgins are better. If you get a virgin, you are the first, you teach her, you open her to sex. In a marriage setting that is ideal. Also men tend to respect them more, it is really like a treasure chest open for the first time, eager to learn. Girls who are not virgins tend to have more issues (mental and body issues) Often women with a lot of partners are the worse, sex is just routine for them, and nothing really special. This on time really screws guys in the head, and soon they cheat or/and get divorced, and women don't want to have sex anymore too or are bitter about it.

probably because all guys want a virgin but now adays there arent that many... and the ones that are are not so willing to give it up as easily as they would like

There's this saying everyone wants to be seen as virgin in public but not in private. So I guess we all want "Whore" ( i know its rude) in bed, therefore it doesn't matter so long you are with the one you love and cherish.
