Not the least bit surprised. This isn't the first time the Bush White House has censored a report relating to climate change, and it probably won't be the last.
They know that they need to downplay the danger of global warming or people might demand that they do something about it.

No--that's been common knowledge in the scientific community for years--its just now getting out to the mainstream.
But "editing" is incorrect terminology. The correct word s "censorship." Not to mention widespread efforts to threaten andintimidate scientists who refused to parrot Bush's "its not proven" lies.

It's so obvious...I hope the Senate grows some cahones and does something. It does say it is not unusual....but it means not unusual for bush to destroy our entire system of checks and balances

i don't know why anyone is so naive to think that this administration is any different than any other no matter who is in the whitehouse they are corrupt, they are greedy, power hungry and sneaky and they really don't care about our troops or the u.s. citizens. attacking only this administration is like beating a child for their brothers bad behavior.
