hmmm, my sister and I could NOT STAND those stupid disgusting peanut butter things wrapped in orange or black wax paper. They tasted nasty and were hard to chew.
We LOVED the popcorn because of a need for something salty for a sugar break
and dreampt of someone dropping a can of soda in our bags coz of all the walking from door to door
aaaaaaaah, ...... Halloween. How we LOVED to dress up, walk around at night and have a blast together as kids :--)
We really loved anything chocolate of course!!!

apples! I was a kid wanting candy, not something good for me! every year as a kid I'd end up with @ least 2-3 of'em. Ughhh!

chewing gum, cheap candy. I always loved Halloween and had the best times. I can still sing some of the stupid songs I used to sing. As I got older, we would run around the neighborhood and just laugh and get candy. Later we would sneak out and TP all our enemies houses. It's a shame that type of Halloween is not an option anymore--I mean the running around and getting candy. There are so many perverts out there, it isn't safe. I guess they were always out there, we just didn't hear about it. . .

I hated those wierd tasting anise candies. No, not the andy's candys (those are YUMMY!) but the ones wrapped in a clear maroon cellophane and colored very dark red. They were hard candies, they looked kinda like the cinnamon kind. (cinnamon ones are gross too!)

I hated those peanuts things too, they are gross and taste like old cheese. I also couldn't stand candy corn or taffy.
