I have a bad migraine headache but I think I may be pregnant I can't go the store and take a test because my head is pounding driving like this is out of the question. I only have excedrin migraine it works great but if I am pregnant I don't want to effect the baby. I am due to get my period on Friday but my head is hurting so bad. What should I do?

If you dont even know if your pregnant, then I would take the pill, the headache could be a result of your impending period. I dont think takeing one excedrin would harm the baby even if you are pregnant, but its your call.

Just try to relax...everyone has different opinions about this as some women do not even find out they are pregnant until 4-6 wks and by then they have usually taken medications or possibly drank alcohol. Since TTC, I have not taken any unnecessary meds, even OTC or drank or smoked (I don't smoke or drink anyway, but I stay away from that environment now also). It will usually tell you on the label if you can take it or not while pg or nursing. Assume you are pg and call your doctor for advice.
