What's your opinion about threesomes? good or bad for the relationship? if bad, is it acceptable in any situation?

It depends on the people involved and the reason(s) they are doing it.
Good if both people in the couple have the same fantasy about bringing in someone else to have recreational sex with. Good if both people are secure in themselves, secure in each other, and thus secure in their value and worth to each other. Good if they are doing it to fulfill their partner's fantasy WHILE fulfilling their own.
Bad if either person in the couple has insecurities and thus can get jealous easily because they don't understand or see their value and worth to their partner. Bad if it is just one person's fantasy and they are dragging their partner along with them to fulfill it. Bad if one person is being coerced, convinced, or manipulated into doing it.
Basically, opening-up your relationship sexually is like the icing on the cake. But, if all the ingredients aren't in the cake to begin with, than all the icing in the world won't keep it from crumbling.
In short, threesomes or moresome's won't fix a bad relationship, but hey certainly won't hurt a good one between two people both wanting the same thing.

More than likely bad for the relationship. It could end badly if the gender alone discovers that they like the new partner better than their own partner? Sex with their partner just won't be the same anymore. There are the rare circumstances when it adds a healthy twist to the relationship and helps the sex life. It could just be a new experience to add excitement to a relationship.

It depends on the people involved.
Some men are quick to have a chick added to the mix. Well, would he be so accepting if she wanted to add another dude?
Myself, I think it would ruin a relationship, still to each his own.

Good if both partners are equally into it and not prone to jealousy. Bad if there's jealousy and insecurity and the third person who is allowed into the relationship becomes an obsessive psycho

if you take the relationship seriously then its bad. but if the couple are really OPEN minded then they wouldnt care. threesomes are awesome i want to experience one in my life time.
