Very common. Depending how early you are. You need to take a "sensitive" test. Or wait to miss your period.

It depends on how long before or after your expected period you take the test. False negative results are a lot more common before your expected period and a lot less common after your expected period.
If you test negative and still think you might be pregnant, wait a couple of days and try a different test ( a more sensitive one like First Response ) and if that comes up negative too you should see a doctor and get a blood test done.

I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests with this pregnancy and both have came back negative. The blood tests have shown up positive and the ultrasound showed a baby. So the answer to your question is yes you can get a negative urine test and still be pregnant. It has actually happened with all 3 of my pregnancies.

Very common. The causes are generally testing too soon (your hCG levels aren't high enough yet, they take longer to build sometimes), or the test isn't sensative enough to pick up the hormones. Sometimes you just got to wait a week inbetween testing to be sure. False postives however, are quite rare and if you get a positive, celebrate.
And remember, even if you get a box of two tests, their senstivity levels actually differ, I have no idea why though, but they do sometimes. Its normal.
GOOD LUCK! :)

This is very common, a false positive is not as common. Try taking another test first thing in the morning, that is when your levels are the highest.

If you take the test to early its possible for it to be a false negitive. I would wait till i missed my period or go to the doctor for a blood test. Good luck
