I am almost 16 years old. I am not sure what i want to be when I get older, but I am interested in law. I got interested in it by watching law and order:svu, and now I want to learn more about it. What are some jobs that involve the law? I thought of a lawyer of course, but I don't think I could do that, since I have social anxiety. my anxiety isn't all that bad as I am on medication but being a lawyer is something that is porbably not possible for me. But I would have loved to do that. So can someone tell me some other law jobs? Thank you!

Definitely not a cop. I am a bit of a girly girl and can't do the cop thing. Paralegal sounds interesting though.

Just working in a law office will help. You could be a paralegal (may require additional schooling and certification, depending on your area) or legal secretary - those will get you the most direct experience - but being the office runner or receptionist could help too. You could also work at the courthouse; typically, this would be a county job, and you would work in the courthouse entering the documents into the computer - it wouldn't be dealing directly with the law. Or you could consider being a court reporter.

I'm a paralegal; let me know if you have any questions about that.

Be a Paralegal. They research all of the cases and help the Attorneys.
