I told my Mom about this a while back. But anyway I remember being surrounded by water and being in the dark. Next thing I remember after that is seeing a bright light after that the whole thing blacked out.

I'm not sure but I think the first one was probably when I was still developing in my Mother and second one was probably when I was born.

True story!

what is up with this?

I can remember places I've been to including what the inside of my family's old house looked like even though we moved out of it 8 years ago!

I dont think anyone could ever remember being born or being in their mothers uterus. If you can you are certainly the first....

That could be any number of things.
It could be a created memory (which means you believe that you had the experience so much that your brain actually creates a false "memory")
It could be a memory from being bathed as an infant or a toddler (maybe your eyes were closed because you were crying or tired and then you opened them and that would be the bright light).
It could be memories of before you were born (which is unlikely but still possible).
Or it could be a past life memory (maybe you drowned in a past life and the bright light was the one people are always talking about when they have near death experiences). Strange but true::our most vivid memories of our past lives are how we died.
The only person who really knows the meaning of this memory is you. Compare your other earliest memories and see if it makes any more sense.
Good luck. =]

You won't develope real memories until you are about 3 years old. Anything before that may be what are mind thinks it could have been like.
