I think I found something in my Whopper....it looks like an entire himan fingernail. I'm sitting here looking at it cause it's really gross. What should I do, take it back to Burger King? It's really awful but I think they may be closed. Do you think I may have eaten part of the finger that went with it? I think I'm starting to get sick.

I think this should be worth a couple of million don't you? I mean that lady at McDonalds got millions for the coffee spill and this is a lot worse.

It's probably a false fingernail that popped off.

I don't think you're likely to win enough in a lawsuit to pay for a lawyer. Most jurors would think, "Yeah, it's disgusting, but how much is that worth?"

Bad publicity might hurt BK a little, but the story about that fingernail will be in the third section, not the front page, and will be soon forgotten. You might be able to get them to cough up some free food, but do you want that? Ask the district manager, not the store manager, for $100, in exchange for a full release, and you might get that.

Be careful in what you say. If you say unless they fork over the $100, you're going to go to the newspapers and television stations and cost them a lot of business. That's extortion, and you could go to jail for that.

Instead, tell them that your friends were encouraging you to do that, and you'd sorta like to be on TV and in the papers, but you hate to subject them to so much ridicule, and so you thought you'd offer them an opportunity to buy the fingernail, if they wanted to. No threats at all. You're trying to be accomodating. (And it's more likely to get you some money. As any married man will tell you, it's always dangerous to back someone into a corner.)

ok, stick it in a plastic bag then chuck it in the freezer for now. then you can report it to the burger king tomorrow and they should have a foreign object policy. they'll probably send it off for analysing and if it is a fingernail you could get some money, wahey!
don't worry, fingernails are gross but not harmful, i chew mine all the time! and i think the owner would've noticed if part of his finger fell in your whopper!

You can't prove the fingernail was in the burger, but take it back tomorrow and show them. That would be a good start. If someone there has fake fingernails and one fell off, then you may have a lawsuit.

I would def take it back... DEF..

Ypou won't physically get sick from eating anything like that- but I don't blame you for feeling sick....

Maybe it is a bit of a cow hoof- somehow I feel that is not helpful!!

gross! if what you say is true, bag it up and take it back when it opens again. The earlier the better, eventhough you will have a hard time proving it.

i would definatly take it to the manager of the BK ... they need to know about what is going on. I would also report it to health department. sounds like this BK could use a sanitation inspection.

your can call burger king headquarters, and show them what you got, they have to monitor these restaurants because what are the chances it only happened to you???? and talk to the manager of the restaurant you got it from do not give him your evidence until you've spoken to headquarters

peace

I would throw it away and pretend it didn't happen. Because, really, if you just keep thinking the way you are, you really are going to get sick.
