When you order take out, you get little packages of ketchup, salt and pepper, mustard, mayo, hot sauce, soy sauce, etc. Do you enjoy collecting free condiments?

Sometimes they give me an overwhelming amount of sauce with my order and I save those for next time. I don't go grabbing a ton of them though at the get-it-yourself stations inside some places. I have a friend that literally will empty out the little buckets of hot sauce packets everytime we go to Taco Bell. I'm not sure why. She doesn't use them all and she's got an entire freezer sized zip lock bag (the HUGE kind) full to the brim of them at home. It's pointless and waistful.

Well thats hard. You should stick to Just vinegar. Or Mustard , mustard is a great fat free condiment. Or try nothing at all. This way you actually taste the food instead of the condiment!!

i have to admit that if i am at panera bread , i do take about 6 of the hellmans light mayo packages. i only need one but like a few extra for when i take a sandwich to work .
i have been feeling guilty about it though. i wish someplace sold small packages of condiments for home use. there is just not an easy way to pack a tablspoon of mayo or mustard for a sandwich you are making from home.

Yes! I always get the ketchup, mayo and hot sauce packets of condiments. If I don't use them, I put them in my fridge for later use!

I like getting the napkins & straws to keep in my car. My bf really gets huge handfulls of the condiments though. They usually stay around for so long that I'm afraid they are bad and won't use them.

Yes, actually, I DO!! I always collect them and put them in a gallon size ziploc bag and use them when we go camping. They spare us from filling the cooler with bottles of catsup, mustard, mayonnaise and relish that only take up space that can be used for food! I also collect the cream and sugar packets for our morning coffee while we camp.

I don't collect condiments. My 15 year old however is obsessed with the idea.

If they are given to me with my order, I can keep them and save them for future use. I often take them to my job's employee breakroom. It could be just what someone needs to perk up their lunch. Certainly, that is a better solution than just throwing them away.
