Yes; that's why I go camping. But I'm lucky - I live in a small area of forest, so I get to sit and hear the birds and the water on a regular basis. Definitely good for the blood pressure, and the soul :-)

I do.... It's difficult to find somewhere that is not interrupted by man made sounds, but I used to live out West, and sometimes we would travel very far North, and be able to find quiet.... I find quiet out in nature to be very nourishing for the soul.
Peace.

yes, sitting in a lawn chair by a camp fire, the only sound is the occasional cracking of the logs in the fire, clear starry sky above, dark looming mountains on 3 sides, a river off in the distance. Its the most peaceful place I know and I absolutely love taking weekend trips there.

I do this on nights when I can't sleep. I sit on the sofa in the dark and just listen to the sounds of the house....and there are a lot of them.

All the time. I'm lucky, at my house. Quiet is very quiet and I love it.

...not so much in the house...but I do so "outside" in the country...I love to be near the water and hear the waves or splashing...also the birds and just the general sounds of the wild...that's real quiet to me

YES! I crave peace and quiet sometimes. (too bad the rest of the family doesn't feel that way!)
