We are extraterrestrial life, we will never find any others because we are too busy blowing each other up and killing our planet. We will be extinct by the time our evolution would allow us to go that far!

It may exist but its too far away for it ever to reach us. It would take thousands of years for a space ship to reach us from anywhere likely to support life.
