maybe you cons would feel better about Maher if he'd of tossed Cindy Sheehan out of his show for wearing a t-shirt he didn't like

Bush is a total slacker when it comes to defending our borders. He doesn't care about the immigration problem. That's very evident because he's never talked about how to solve the problem. If Bush defended our borders like Bill Maher defends his show, then yes, I think we'd be safer, but dream on - wishful thinking here.

Scrapy? I think Bush could put his head through a wall.
In any case, Maher's bias and failure to process facts makes him an entertaining wit but, philosophically irrelevant.
Edit: I don't care what Maher's position is. My assessment of him stands. He's an entertainer. What possible experience or insight does he bring to the table that would make him relevant?
He is a comedian, a late-night comedian at that. Does his BA from Cornell mean something when he talks about diplomacy or how the leader of the free world should conduct himself?
Look at his film credits and tell me, with a straight face, he should be considered when forming your opinion; Ratboy (1986), Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death (1988), Pizza Man (1991).

Bill only went to the edge and then let security do the dirty work. Don't get me wrong I adore Bill, but he's like a banie rooster, and will take credit when the sun comes up. There is something not right about him these days, he seems to have a edge that is out of place.

actually I thought he was a cowardly little b**** as he made sure all the security guys got there ahead of him.
It was all a put on I would even bet he planted those guys in his audience.
