Me and my friend went to our first game and I noticed that one guy did it all the time, the other guy on the other team didn't do it quite as much. Are they gay or what?

The guy who throws the ball = The quarterback.
The other guy = The center.
He does this because it is the most secure way to receive the snap. Less chance of fumble. The center is wearing a protective cup, so it's not as if he's copping a feel while he's there.

I know.. it's such a "touchy" game.. this grid iron.. with all that testosterone and lycra rubbing on firm toned muscle.. and all that grinding and bumping... it's kind of erotic. It should be banned ~ so sinful.. enough to turn a man.. you know! I wonder if the quarterback ever gets the urge to ... nah... doesn't matter.

That's where the Qb gets the snap from the center. I played QB before and if you tap the "area" that means you want more pressure. Kinda disgusting but still you have to do it.
