'm thinking about getting a Chevrolet Cobalt Coupe 07'. Kepp in mind that i'm 18, almost 19. Is this a good car for someone my age? And yes, I'm on a budget :) Thanks.
And if they offer that 100,000 mile warranty, shouldn't it be good?

I'm a mature driver too. I'm not crazy like a regular teenager. I'm actually a cautious driver. Well I only have my permit right now, but I need a car to take to my dirvers test. My moms car is too big. I'm only 4 11... and my sister dare won't let me take her car.

I have owned most makes (Chevy, Ford, Dodge.....), and I find that Chevy's are most reliable in my opinion. If you like the car and it's in your budget then I would definitly tell you to get it. The Toyota camry isnt a bad car either, and to be honest it does have a higher crash rating than the Cobalt. Also the Lincoln LS / MKZ isn't a bad car either, just get one that you are comfortable driving!!!! Hope this helps!!!

The cobalt is an excellent car. It used to be the chevrolet cavalier before it was renamed and redesigned. The 100,000 mile warranty is powertrain to you that means egine and transmission. you alaso have 3 year of bumper to bumper coverage, 5 years roadside assistance(they will change your flat or give you gas if you run out), and 6 year rust protection. Chevrolet also has the highest value for resale. A cobalt is a good affordble dependable car. 4 door and the 2 door cost the same so it would be what fits you best. A cautiuos driver should expect to get in the mid 30's for gas mileage. good luck car shopping

Generally I love that car! So cute! My friend has one and has had no problems with hers. They are well built and well backed up. I am a Chevy girl.... despite my husband being a ford man... My only issue with it was that I didn't fit very well in the back seat on the two door model. Not much head room. But then again I am 5'10"!! Gets good gas mileage too. She was driving over a hundred miles some days and never had an issue. They are pretty affordalbe I think, depending on the features you want. I would definatly recommend this car!!!

The Chevy Cobalt should be fine,(assuming it fits you physically and otherwise) and the 100.000 mile warranty should prevent any exspensive surprises for a few years. But don't buy one until you pass the driver's test. If your mom;s car is too big, what car have you been practicing in? Drivers Ed business will let you use the car you used in the lessons. (for a fee)

I wouldn't recommend the Chevy Cobalt. I did some research on it and found it was far below average reliability. Plus, it said that "its back seats were uncomfortable and it is thirsty for fuel." I own an 07 Toyota Corolla. Its rated on of the best for small sedans. Never have any problems with it. I get good fuel economy. Or if you want a coupe, why not try the Scion Tc? Plus, Chevy is a very unreliable brand when it comes to sedans and small cars. Trucks are good.
