A few years ago, I was sexual assaulted by a good friend whom I thought I trusted. Now I have a boyfriend whom I have been with for a year and 6 months. When we began dating, we had sex lot up until the two year mark of my sexual assault. After that we had less and less sex. 6 months ago my boyfriend and I moved in together, and he yells at me for small mistakes I make all time. We still have sex every now and then but tonight he said, "You wanna know why i'm always pissed off and yell? it because you never give me sex. You think of that anytime that I get upset and yell at you that in reality its your own fault." That upset me and I think he yells because it's in his genes, not because I don't give him sex. Right? I also read that birth control can decrease you libido as well.

I think he yells at you simply because he doesn't respect you. If he knows that you were sexually assaulted then he needs to give you lots of support and comfort because that is a very tragic circumstance. If he really loved you then he would try to help you overcome this horrible event in your past. It's obvious that you're not giving him sex not because you just don't feel like it but because you are still being affected by the assault and he needs to recognize that. I do think that yelling is in a person's genes, but even despite his genes he could work on his attitude for your sake. I think he is being incredibly selfish in this case, and yelling will not help. So to answer your question, perhaps lacks of sex can drive anger but I don't think this is the cause in your situation, it's his attitude that is the problem.

I don't understand why women use every excuse under the sun to avoid having sex with their boy friends, and yet the man marries her, thinking it will get better!! Yet the truth is that it only compounds the lack of sex. Why don't the ladies just say, we don't want sex with you, but we want you to support, defend, and cherish us! And if we complain about it, it becomes an issue that we should understand, and support. Why not be honest from the start, and say, we don't like sex, but this is what I expect from you. Men want, need, desire sex as much as we need the sun, rain, and food!!

well it depends on your sex drive...

i have a high sex drive and my soon to be husband does not..
i get furious with him when he goes a week or two without sex.
i need it more than once a week.

i'm sorry to hear about your assault, your boyfriend should be more understanding.
since he's not, try a toy from the sex shop....
a bullet is a good tool to help you get in the mood...
it fits in the palm of your hand and it's for clitoris stimulation...
