EmaWeeE , at this point in time it doesn't really matter who started it.Physical contact, even just shoving, can quickly escalate into something very serious. You should try to figure out how this type of reaction can be avoided in the future. You could possibly get a detention from that type of reaction.Maybe you could use your stock answer If she shoves you again, stop, look her in the eye ,tell her "Whatever" then walk away. You and your friends will walk away, no fight and she will look foolish to everyone for trying to start a fight. Just curious, does your school have a peer mediation program? If not, you should maybe approach the principal about such a program. When my daughter was in school she was asked by the guidance councelorif she would be interested in being a peer mediator. She was given training and then would sit down with students who were having isues. The students would talk about their problems and then would try to work out a solution. The peer mediator was there to oversee the students and help the students in making good decisions.Of course, the responsibility of being a peer mediator was a position that was offered to students who demonstrated that they were mature and academically responsible. You had to be recommended by teaching staff as well as the principal.I think that it was a good program .Students were able how to make good decisions for themself and learned how to resolve conflicts without violence.

ok....now i get why other users dislike you. did it occour to you that it maybe was an accident????? Pushing her back dosnt do any good, even if she pushed you first. and you didnt "hafta" push her back. you were actually trying to hurt her, she may have been just joking around. she's right, you did start. i'm not saying that she is blameless, but you shouldn't have let your temper get the better of you.

p.s. with your spelling and grammer, you should,ny be calling her a dumbass.....

I've read some of the answers you've given, and based on just that fact alone, whatever you say, I'm sure it is wrong. You lack grace and intelligence. I think its funny that you are calling somebody else a "dumbass", and you thought "hafta" was a word. Stay in school, you illiterate fool.

Well if someone pushes you, you eitha be so assertive to the top of your voice and say ' y u gotta be nasty and push people! and go all physco, shell either yell back or freak out, but i guess i would never let anyone push me, so she as at fault for pushing you, but two wrongs dont make a right for pushing her back....but she started it....

Did she push you before you pushed her? If not, you started the fight. There were other ways to stop her from bullying those kids. She can't make you do anything. If you pushed her without her pushing you first (even if she was pushing other kids) you started it.

Well she was right. You kinda did start it. When you see someone do something mean, don't atomatically go to them and try to boss them around; you aren't her mother. This is how fights START. Don't you see? You just make it worse by responding! Instead, tell the teacher or another adult. You should only tell someone if that girl is harming another person. That means, that if she's just shoving people, leave her alone, hopefully she will get detention. If she was shoving people that they started crying, then yea, tell someone. Otherwise, let it be.
I agree with Alisa Marie, DON'T stoop to their level! (although you kinda have.)

She started the pushing...and you started pushing back....

It usually takes more than one person to cause a fight....therefor....it is irrelevant who started it...you got involved in it anyway!
