i have a friend's dad that uses his (aroud 2000) v6 wrangler to tow a 24 ft double axle ski boat....he does fine...if you have 4 wheel drive you wont have a problem on the ramp...just be careful when you are towing that your breaks are fine, the jeep will tow what you put behind it, but it might not be able to stop it.

There are legal limitations on towing - I believe it is in the region of 3.5 tons on a trailer - so you need to keep this in mind and check out the regs.
